Knock Down Rebuild Process

01 INITIAL CONSULTATION

The first step towards acquiring your dream home involves a consultation with the Unique Built design team. We discuss your budget, type of block you wish to build on, and desired home style, including exterior and interior.

02 SITE ASSESSMENT & DEVELOPMENT

Unique Built will conduct a full onsite inspection of your block, including soil testing and surveying. Based on the results of the inspection and ideas discussed at your initial consultation, you’ll be provided with a cost estimate.

03 BUILDING CONTRACT & DESIGN

At this point, a HIA building contract is drafted, along with full documentation outlining the details of your chosen build. Once the contract has been agreed upon and signed, our design team will guide you through the process of choosing your colour scheme, lighting, fittings and fixtures.

03 COUNCIL APPROVAL & DEMOLITION

All relevant council approvals are sought using an experienced building certifier to ensure that everything proceeds quickly and without hassle. Once approval has been obtained, Unique Built takes care of all demolition, guaranteeing maximum efficiency.

05 CONSTRUCTION

During the construction phase of your new home, you will receive ongoing updates from a designated Unique Built contact.

06 COMPLETION & HANDOVER

Once your new home has been built, you’re ready to move in. You will meet with your site manager, where an onsite inspection will be performed to ensure that you are satisfied with everything. 90 days following this, Unique Built will arrange a final onsite inspection to check in with you and confirm that you are happy with your new home.
