The Sloping Block Home Design Process
1) INITIAL CONSULTATION
You will meet with our managing director and design team to discuss your plans for a new custom built Gold Coast home.
We will schedule an inspection of your block and provide advice on how it may impact the overall design of your home. We will discuss your budget and identify how you can obtain the best home design at your desired price point.
2) SITE ASSESSMENT & DEVELOPMENT
A comprehensive onsite inspection is performed of your nominated block, which includes all soil testing and surveying.
Based on the outcome of the inspection and results of the soil testing, along with discussions that occurred at your first meeting, a cost estimate will be presented to you.
3) Design Phase
Our architect develops a series of floor plans and interior designs, before presenting a final concept to you. Once you have approved of this, you will be shown a list of beautiful décor choices with which to furnish your new home.
You then receive an itemised list of expenses that reflect your home design and décor options, along with a schedule with an estimate of when construction will begin and when your home will be ready to move into.
4) Approval
Here, you have the option to make final alterations to floor plans and building materials. Once happy with the changes and ready to proceed, the official contract documents are drawn up.
Once you have approved and signed the contract, building permits are sought from your local council.
5) Construction
The construction phase begins with the preparation of your sloping block. All excavations, disposal of rubbish and removal of obstructions are performed during this time.
Once the site is deemed suitable to build on, the foundation is laid. During construction, we keep in regular contact with you through phone calls and onsite meetings.
6) Completion & Handover
When construction of your split level home has been concluded, you will be invited to our head office. Here, you will be issued with a portfolio containing all official building documentation, along with keys to your spectacular new residence.
At this time, we also arrange a complimentary post-construction inspection of your home.
